LONDON, 15 March 2023 - Insurance Business UK (IBUK) has named Asha Patel, Class Manager for Life Science and Technology, as one of its Elite Women in 2023. The IBUK elite list recognises women across the industry that are making a positive impact and influence on the insurance industry.
Asha has been recognised for not only her standout professional performance and ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), but also her passion for mentorship and unearthing rising talent.
Since joining CNA Hardy in 2017, Asha has worked her way up from joining the business as a Senior Underwriter to Class Manager for Life Science and Technology, two of our market-leading industry specialisms.
Over the last 12 months, Asha has spearheaded the development of Life Science within the business following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Using her client-led mentality, Asha is integral to our sector specialist strategy, giving clients peace of mind and the much-needed security to focus on innovation and solutions for new and emerging health concerns.
Diversity, equity and inclusion are core to everything Asha does, be it leading on our Women in Insurance events to advocating and championing junior members across the business.
